Why is meeting our members so important? As part of our "Shop the Battlefords" campaigns, meeting our members gives you the opportunity to learn about the individuals behind your local businesses!
More often than not, you are more likely to do business with someone that you KNOW. The choice is obvious when deciding whether to purchase a particular item out-of-town or in-town from someone you're familiar with. You will want to buy from the individual you know and support a local business!

- You create local jobs: Local businesses value creating higher-paying jobs for YOUR neighbours in the community.
- More of your money is kept in the local economy: For every $100 you spend at locally owned businesses, $68 stays in the community. What happens when you spend the same $100 at a national chain? Less than $14 stays in the community.
- Your support matters: Local retailers appreciate your support, and it's what keeps their businesses running. Every cent counts! When you support local businesses, you help create a one-of-a-kind community that everyone wants to visit, and that people love to live in.
